The Friends of Liberty United Plan to Restore America
Friends of Liberty United (FOLU) has no interest in replicating the work of other organizations; past or present. We will adopt products produced by others in the past and worthy programs of existing organizations willing to work with others in pursuit of our GOAL. An example follows. The plan has been slightly modified to meet the FOLU needs.
RELIVING 1776; a joint initiative of the CONSTITUTIONALIST’S NETWORKING CENTER (CNC)
and AMERICANS for CONSTITUTIONAL ENFORCEMENT (ACE)
On July 4, 1776, fifty six brave Americans signed the Declaration of Independence. In it we find “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” Subsequently, the Constitution of the United States was ordained and established to “provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.”
The first three articles of the Constitution created the three branches of the Federal government as Agents of the states. Each branch was delegated specific and limited responsibilities. All others “not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States,” were “reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” (Constitution’s tenth amendment)
In referring to the Constitution, James Madison wrote: “The preservation of a Free government requires, not merely that the metes and bounds which separate each department of power be invariably maintained, but more especially that neither of them be suffered to overleap the great barrier which defends the rights of the people. The rulers who are guilty of such encroachment exceed the commission from which they derive their authority, and are tyrants. The people who submit to it are governed by laws made neither by themselves nor by an authority derived from them and are slaves….“
Today, Americans are governed by tyrants! Our Constitution, the “great barrier” designed to defend our rights, has been breached; a problem characterized by thirty Republican governors on 11/22/1994 when they alleged “Federal action has exceeded the clear bounds of its jurisdiction under the Constitution and thus violated rights guaranteed the people. The government of ‘limited, delegated powers’ envisioned by the framers has become a government of virtually unlimited power.” This unconstitutional “Federal action” has resulted in a counter revolution. Americans now live under the ten planks of the Communist Manifesto!
That’s the bad news! The good news is that we have the tools needed “to restore to the states and the people the prerogatives and freedoms guaranteed them under the Constitution;” the pledge of the governors and the goal of RELIVING 1776. Patriotic Americans must, and together can, make this goal a reality through unity of action on meaningful issues. We must do so for the sake of the entire world and in order to leave our posterity their birthright to Liberty. To reach this goal, we must build a team capable of assuring elected officials honor their oath of office and fiduciary responsibility or face the consequences. The 1776 team will consist of many teams working with one another and operating at various geopolitical levels. Highlights of their mission and functions follow. An interim National Leadership Team (NLT) consisting of people in agreement with the governor’s allegation, who have the courage and integrity needed to honor an oath, and who agree with the Friends of Liberty United core beliefs is in place. Its mission is to provide and oversee the implementation of a plan designed to aid concerned Americans in becoming an undeniable political force, the tools needed to implement the plan, and to be a catalyst in trying to convince the leadership of other organizations of the need for unified action.
The mission of the National Implementation Team (NIT) is to coordinate the execution of the plan, policies, procedures, and programs established by the National Leadership Team.
There will be Objective Pursuit Teams at each level of government (see ___________) whose mission is to develop and coordinate the execution of plans designed to satisfy needed objectives within their jurisdiction.
Legal and Legislative teams are needed to support the NLT, NIT and the OPTs.
A National Patriotic Media Association will consist of all audio, video and written media outlets supportive of the FOLU effort.
A Legislative Initiative team composed of former and sitting state legislators willing to acknowledge it is our States, as principals to the Constitution and under the Law of Agency, who hold the ultimate authority and responsibility for the Constitution’s proper interpretation and implementation. This team’s primary missions are to prepare and promote the introduction of needed legislation and to attempt to convince sitting state legislators that time is of the essence and of the need to use ALL of their power, including that of ‘interposition’ and ‘nullification’ to redirect the course of our “ship of state.“
A Mobile Information Team will be formed in each Federal region. Its mission will be to assist the state, county and local teams in conducting Political Action Coordinating Conferences, educating the public, and training members of these teams.
The mission of state, county and local OPTs is to develop and implement plans designed to address issues of concern at their level of government, to support their counterparts at the national level, and to help implement the plans and programs developed by the NLT and NIT.
Every Friend of Liberty United team must function as an educator to inform voters on important issues and objectives and of the 1776 plan; as a catalyst to help create the teams needed to gain control of government, as an information clearing house for their contacts; as a synchronizer to assure timely unity of action among their contacts; and as a Political Action Coordinating Conference (PACC) sponsor/host.
NLT functions include providing and orchestrating the implementation of the FOLU plan and the tools needed to implement it, staffing the NIT and national OPTs; defining the concepts, policies, and procedures to be followed in implementing the plan; assisting the NIT in identifying and preparing written material needed in support of the plan; helping to raise funds; timely acting on decision papers submitted to the NLT by the NIT and OPT team leaders; and hosting semi-annual In Process Reviews (IPRs)/PACCs to assess progress, build support, and identify new problems perceived by networking organizations.
NIT functions include creating and maintaining a web site; a speakers roster consisting of people qualified to address important issues and present the FOLU plan; arranging for approved speakers to be interviewed; helping develop and coordinate the efforts of the state, county, and local FOLU teams; planning and coordinating national PACCs; helping the FOLU leaders develop and implement strategies and tactics in support of national objectives; establishing a National Patriotic Media Association (NPMA) composed of friendly media outlets; providing the NPMA newsworthy information; establishing and maintaining needed computer programs and data bases; and maintaining lists of organizations invited to help develop and implement the TAB plan, those accepting the invitation and those refusing to affiliate with others.
LOCAL FOLU TEAMS – THE KEY TO VICTORY
Every Individual and organization supporting the goal should encourage their contacts to join or create a local team within their political precinct, church, neighborhood, etc. To facilitate networking, FOLU has provided a communications system through which people can find like minded people in their geographical area who share their concerns and are willing to help satisfy the FOLU goal. It will also permit the NIT to communicate with every FOLU team or sub sets thereof; the OPT members, the friendly media outlets, and with affiliated groups supporting the project.
Local FOLU team functions include:
* Being a “watch dog” over local government organizations on behalf of their community;
* Sponsoring and hosting Political Action Coordinating Conferences;
* Educating, energizing, organizing, synchronizing and synthesizing voters on issues; especially those thought to have caused thirty Republican governors to allege that “Federal action has exceeded the clear bounds of its jurisdiction under the Constitution and this violated rights guaranteed the people;”
* Identifying and supporting qualified political candidates.
* Inviting local organizational leaders (veteran, religious, law enforcement, and patriotic etc.) to help restore our Republic and notifying the members of the organizations of their leadership’s decision;
* Gaining control of significant political parties through the election of precinct committee persons;
* Sponsoring or supporting local youth activities and informing their members of FOLU.
* educating government officials and petitioning them for redress of grievances;
* Identifying issues of local concern and preparing and implementing plans to address them;
* Assuring jurors are fully informed of their rights;
* Helping to obtain ballot status for worthy candidates and political parties;
* Initiating and/or supporting responsible legal initiatives;
* Initiating and/or supporting recall actions directed at unworthy officials;
* Supporting the efforts of adopted organizations.
* Helping to implement the FOLU plan and mini plans prepared by the national, state and county OPTs.
To execute its functions it’s suggested local FOLU teams have a:
Team chief to chair team meetings and help members to satisfy the duties for which they volunteer.
Toastmaster to deliver the FOL story at every opportunity.
Petition coordinator to develop petitions and organize petition drives in support of FOL initiatives.
Special events coordinator to organize events & provide information booths at public events.
Director of Communications to exchange information between the local team and others. Distribute received information to other team members via fax, Email, phone trees or meetings.
Candidate selection and support specialist to identify candidates willing to act in support the FOL goal and to support acceptable candidates in every possible way. A candidate questionnaire is at __________.
PACC specialist – Conduct and report the results of local FOL team sponsored PACCs and assure team representation on any OPTs resulting from a PACC.
Watchdogs to attend meetings of government organizations and report significant results to the public.
Media liaison to identify friendly media outlets in the area and inform them of team activities and issues.
Elected official liaison to maintain communications with elected officials on actions of team interest.
Liaisons to serve as the point of contact and action officer for every OPT.
Adopted program coordinator to support the programs of existing organizations found important enough to warrant a member from each county team joining the organization and guiding their fellow team members in support of its efforts.
Veteran’s liaison to seek the support of veterans and veteran organizations for team initiatives.
Law enforcement – educate and seek the support of law enforcement personnel (civilian and military)
Clergy liaison – educate and seek the support the areas clergy and their parishioners.
Librarian – maintain a library of educational items in support of the team and project RELIVING 1776.
Secretary/treasurer – self explanatory
Organizational development – expand team membership, help form other teams and assure functions identified herein are staffed.
County representation – represent the local team on the county team.
Pamphleteer – prepare or otherwise acquire informational pamphlets and assure their distribution.
Together, we can bring America home to its lawful foundation and traditional values!
